Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear August 13, 2009 Share August 13, 2009 i think it's really up to individual to rate the spaciousness of a car...if proton can make a car as good as the Wish, that is really saying something...there's a sudden improvement since the launch of the Gen-2 in singapore... Mustang 1st Gear August 13, 2009 Share August 13, 2009 Think Proton have this Dr Eppel(ex-BMW quality engineer) as their Director of Quality just before the launch of Exora.

Panhard 1st Gear August 14, 2009 Share August 14, 2009 The m-line does not have the original black sticker on B & C pillars. only the H-line has it. The Front bonnet does not have an inner insulation pad to protect it from the heat of the engine. which also insulate sound from engine. No auto fold-in for door side mirrors. Anyone knows where all these could be fitted professionally to look like original in Spore.

Mustang 1st Gear August 14, 2009 Share August 14, 2009 Mustang, thanks for the info. No problem Bro,As a Proton owner we ought to take the advantages of having original parts with cheap price across the causeway right? If not i won't be bother to buy a Proton in the first place. Alfisti168 1st Gear August 14, 2009 Share August 14, 2009 The wheels in the Exora are quite small. So is the ride as bad as the honda Stream?
Mustang 1st Gear August 16, 2009 Share August 16, 2009 The wheels in the Exora are quite small. So is the ride as bad as the honda Stream? Bro you cant judge the ride by only looking at the rims only,Agreed the rims is quite small but an 16 incher is worth the try.
Panhard 1st Gear August 16, 2009 Share August 16, 2009 any exora owners here care to share on their ride so far. especially the autogearbox with city driving. cos I still cant decide either to get auto or manual tested the auto yesterday at leng kee, found that the shift from 1st to 2nd takes longer than usual. almost 3,500rpm before it switches. SA says is designed this way to allow the exora to reach higher rolling speeds faster. But wont it create higher FC.
Fussyme Neutral Newbie August 16, 2009 Share August 16, 2009 Blackhawk, to me the engine is ok but the air-con is a bit noisy. Luckly, the noise level is acceptable and it is only for a few seconds when you start your engine. After about two weeks, I'm sort of immune to it. Panhard, mine is auto-car. Personally, auto pick up is not as fast as manual. If you are one of those drivers who prefer "ZOOM" after green light, I will suggest you get the manual version Mustang, what is simota drop air-filter? what are the pro and con to install it? Please share! Lastly, will FC higher if change the wheel to 16"

Lastly, will FC higher if change the wheel to 16" Ok bro based on my mum in law Exora,She already trade-in her stock rims for 16 inch BSA 5 spokes rims with Dunlop 205/55 tyres and had to top up another RM500.FC wise it's not much different from the stock ones unless you use more wider and bigger rims..Also to take note your new rims must be more lighter than stock ones!Reviews from my friends using SIMOTA drop in for their Saga/Gen2/Persona/Neo is that the pick up is more smoother than stock ones.Just that and dun believe if people says they gain extra horsepower or top speed by just changing filters. The People at Proton advice that Exora doesn't require to fully depress the pedal for pick up,Just slight press will do and the gear will change smoothly,And after 3rd gear then you can drive you can start to drive your style of driving.. ↡ Advertisement
