Plusnplus Neutral Newbie August 17, 2009 Share August 17, 2009 The wheels in the Exora are quite small. So is the ride as bad as the honda Stream? why some ppl think small wheel, make the ride not comfort? bigger wheel make your fc higher right? i always want reduce the wheel size by 1-2 inch from original condition. ↡ Advertisement

Panhard 1st Gear August 25, 2009 Share August 25, 2009 salesman said already delivered a number of exora in S'pore. Still yet to see one. However, on sunday along woodlands exiting to KJE saw this silver exora (H-line) chrome at rear boot w/JB plate zoom pass & disappeared in front of me. seem to be going like a 3L car. wonder if it has already been modified. Plusnplus Neutral Newbie August 25, 2009 Share August 25, 2009 ppl who already book their exora, will get the car around dec right? and i waiting for the manual price come out. i wonder if the manual version will come or not
Windchoco 1st Gear August 25, 2009 Share August 25, 2009 (edited) Test drove the Exora last weekend... Space decent.. 2nd row big sia, but comments from the 2 ladies that went with me was that 3rd row too small... Comments from passengers during test drive is that engine a bit noisy, esp as the 1st gear will always revv to at least 3.5k.. Not v sluggish la.. i find the acceleration ok... just be patient.. If want to compare apple to apple, i can only say, if u ever driven the (1.6L or 1.5L ?) Avanza with the VVT-I, also same... must revv then got power. :p Driving position a bit like bus driver though.. i find the position more upright, as if i m stepping down instead of stepping in front.. All mpvs like that? Gated Gearshift-> v unnatural and "not-oiled" feel, like got resistance... Those who ever used Altis and Avante gated gearshift will certainly feel the difference. The shift from P to D and from D back to P for the latter 2 cars are far smoother. Only average build quality thats typical plasticky proton, but i guess it was meant to be a value for money mpv... But to be fair, nothing feels like its going to fall apart anytime soon, and the Singapore version's leathery version with leather wrapped seat, steering wheel and gear reduces the plastic feeling and is far better than the 100% plastic that i saw in the JB showroom. Aircon vents for rear passengers is also 1 of the best qualities this car has. Conclusion: It is what it is marketed to be.. a value for money MPV that will carry ppl and move. Not for fussy ppl and not for those who want something more than that. Edited August 25, 2009 by Windchoco
Panhard 1st Gear August 25, 2009 Share August 25, 2009 just read m'sia motor trader forum, some exora A/T owners who tested the M/T version now regret. find the power from the 1.6 campos CPS on the manual more willing to perform as compared with the auto. Which is very true as the torque converter in the auto g/box robs some power which is meant for the road wheels. Those interested in committing on the exora. maybe hold on till you try out the manual.
Mustang 1st Gear August 25, 2009 Share August 25, 2009 Bro Manual for Singapore market is just like Liqour and Beer. The former can make you drunk in few minutes while the latter takes time. But both serve same purpose.

Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear August 25, 2009 Share August 25, 2009 they should bring in the H-Line instead of the M-line... can't wait for the turbo-supercharged version to come...that time, it will flood the road...!!!
Caaa Clutched August 25, 2009 Share August 25, 2009 (edited) Think the H line and M line difference is just cosmetic, still same engine...so maybe they just wana keep the cost low and sell low? Turbo charged version dunno will come or not? and hope the price would not be too high..... Edited August 25, 2009 by Caaa
