Octopus 3rd Gear June 3, 2009 Share June 3, 2009 full specs at $53k? not worth liao....... i wont pay more than $50k for this car....... $45k shld be all this car deserves....... How come you say that? Is it because its a MIK car? Shouldn't you judge the price of Forte based on the equipment level it comes with as compared with other make? Stargate2 Neutral Newbie June 3, 2009 Share June 3, 2009 Korean cars are getting more and more ex. I thought I saw Subaru is selling at 52,000 in the ads? Korean car are selling well in the first quanter simply becoz of their price advantage. If they are pricing on same as jap cars I doubt people will buy korean cars. Alfc 5th Gear June 3, 2009 Share June 3, 2009 (edited) I would think cannot jus look at total price. Imagine same car one with $20k coe sell at $60k, another with $5k coe sell at $45k. In fact, both price (ex COE) still the same, so worth or not still same conclusion. Rest of $$ is not paying for the physical car anyway. Nowadays cannot look at the price of the car only. Must also look at the insurance premium you will be paying. I rather pay a higher price for a slightly better car rather than a cheaper Subaru who's insurance premiums can cause a heart attack.
Servic Clutched June 3, 2009 Share June 3, 2009 axio now selling at 49k.altho from PI...is it of better worth then forte at the same price?? yea if tats the price axio is gg for...its rather attractive for a MIJ car..
Axela72 5th Gear June 3, 2009 Share June 3, 2009 Seem like Korea car using super cheap price to attract their customer initially cannot substain long. Going to show their true colour out soon as they can't substain their low profit margin. My unscrupulous competitor also do the same kind of technique to us to win over my customer/business. However, my customer later realised that there is hidden cost whereby they charge their customer twice the amount of contracture servicing cost.
