Let me answer yr qns if u have not been reading the papers or not knowing the reason on our ever-increasing premium.

Fraudulent claims is the cause of it.

Oh come on, sarcasm here in this forum? Certainly no need for it right? We are all here to share more info on our cars. Not here to shoot arrow here and there. Being sarcastic here, whatever for? Maybe wrong forum u're in? [;)]

And thanks for yr well wishes. Greatly appreciated. Good luck to you too [thumbsup]

IMO, placing blame based on media allegations rather than taking self-responsibly is stretching the argument a little too far.

So, let's not get side-tracked that a +200kph crash survival is minimal in any vehicle, let alone an FD saloon.

Frankly, I don't believe in "luck" when comes to speeding...it is like a gamble..only with lifes at stake.

Just don't become another road statistic for a fleeting moment of "confidence". [flowerface]

You are are welcomed in thanking my well wishes, although I believe you need it more than I do.. . [flowerface]

PS: Sarcasm is part-and-parcel of any forum, and it is up to the moderator to decide if any malice/harm was done in the process.

haha. As reported in the papers that fradulant claims are the main cause of insurance premium is a known fact and u simple choose not to believe it. What else can i say? If u are running 200kpa and crashed i dont even think u can claim yr insurance. [laugh] Wondering how it can cause insurance premium to rise. Coffin money can claim insurance? Maybe for yr case yes? I dont know.

What a joke bro. No one is asking for yr so called "luck" when it comes to speeding.

Dont tell me u never cross the speed limit in yr life and thus as claim by u endangering ppl life?

Hmmm. You are such a "angel" on the road.

May god bless you with lots of luck. [laugh]

Sorry if i offended u in anyway, I dont knw why u are so "bored" to come here and make sarcasm remarks. Perhaps stomp is a better place for u? I was just answering what the TS had asked. Sharing around more info to the TS. This is what MCF is suppose to be isnt it? Instead of shooting arrows around. I believe the moderators will agree with me on that.

Relax bro, don't get too worked up on this wanderful Tuesday morning.

I don't think my replies a are a bore since I am getting response from you so far [flowerface]

Yes, I agree you are no angel, but I am. So if I can contribute to a safer road. why not?

And yes, like you had said about going 200km/h: "It is too stressful and dangerous", and I totally for that!

That was my initial POV which we agreed.

Peace? [wave]

On sg roads and NSHW, I would say 95% of people had gone beyond the speed limit.

I Applaud you bro.

You are really one rare angelic driver. Glad that u contribute to a safer rd by not speeding.

Cheers. [thumbsup]

incredible. so a civic with 150bhp can outrun my stock c-class???

FD2 has 155 horses, The American Civic has 197 horses and a Type-R (FD2R) well exceeds 200 horses with spare.

Regards,

if u hv been to the german autobahn, the cars and vans there are moving like >160kph. 200kph is common... heck even the lorries are going >120kph. there was 1 time when i was in a rented lada (if any of you can remember this 'wonderful' car) & driven by my pilot friend... the car engine was like in the 70s kind... can't even hit 120kph on the road. he was trying his best to go along wif the traffic... alas, we kept kena flashed by lots of vehicles....and we were already on the slow lane... even the lorries were faster !!

so to me, it is a matter of getting used to these kind of speed.. its all relative speed.... in autobahn, u are a slow poke if u do 100kph....u r cruising along the traffic at 160~200kph... u are fast if >250kph. in sg, well....u r slow poke if u do 60kph, cruising along 80~100kph....fast (or mad) if u do >150kph.

to bros who want to drive fast >180kph, pls make sure your tires (wif correct pressure as well) and brakes are up to it...then drive fast & drive safe. but not in SG. do in NSH :-p

cheers

[laugh] We know our cars. Honda has a few variations for their range of 2L engines. So for the same cc, the horse output could be vastly different. Anyway, these are pure NA cars. C-class using supercharger?

Geee..thx bro. I didn't know I am in 5% band hadn't done +200kph on NSHW.

That got me interested:

Based on your 95% figure, does that mean most cars area capable of that speed, not just a Civic FD1.8?

Nope. The figures are base on cars going over the speed limit on SG roads and NSHW.

So u fall under the 5% that never go beyond the speed limit. [drivingcar]

Oh no..no. I was thinking you meant "speeding" as >200kph! [laugh]

I guess I should use the term "excessive speeding" for this scenario.

Supercharged

My friend drove sylphy 1.5 also hitted 200km/h lah, though civic 1.8 should not be problem [:p]

Your friend big cannon. Nissan's claim less than 170km/h for Slyphy 1.5.

Where to find enough horses to get to 200? Maybe going down long slop.
