TangoElite 6th Gear March 12, 2010 Share March 12, 2010 i think blinking brake light is ok if it is a 4th brake light, the normal 3rd brake light should remain to prevent confusion like those RX 8 ↡ Advertisement
TangoElite 6th Gear March 12, 2010 Share March 12, 2010 Normally there 3 lights to indicate the stop/brake action- 1 left, 1 right & 3rd stop lamp in the centre. So unless they are all modified to blinking it is quite safe to judge the driver action/intension. true true but at night, when the rear red lights are also on, sometimes cannot really tell if the brake light is on or it is the rear light
Bluepica 4th Gear March 12, 2010 Share March 12, 2010 blinking brake light, blue light, HID light, high beam light, no light.... why can't motorists just follow the rules and use normal lights. If want to be different, just paste lots of stickers on the car can already... don't irritate other drivers with all these christmas lights on the car machiam a chingay parade float in the night ... I seconded u First, u put additional light, but u urself can't see it, so it's only distraction to others on the road. 2nd, imagine u stuck in a traffic jam, all cars applying brakes and all the LED starts to blink brightly in front of u... u'll be in a daze! Krado Clutched March 12, 2010 Share March 12, 2010 thats quite true one cant be sure if it is blinking brake or the bugger is tapping his brake intermitetly, unless of course there is a pernament light as well. This I like. Not annoying + somewhat legal....

Eugn86 3rd Gear March 26, 2010 Share March 26, 2010 I think the blinking brake light thing is a requirement for Malaysian commercial vehicles? I found it very good in catching the attention of another road user. Because it blinks, the eyes and mind are able to react faster, especially when you are sleepy. KingsWay Neutral Newbie April 10, 2010 Share April 10, 2010 This gadget can help to get attention for vehicle who follow too near. For those who convoy to Malaysia and caught in a jam, it's easy to notify your friends far back which way your go or turn once you depress the brake especially at night. Can switch off while in local usage. Click here
