Usually if I go Orchard on PH/Sunday I will park at Shaw House. Because not only

cheaper($2.50/entry) and avoid ERP and jam. It also easier for me to go home also.

But recently they just increase their price to $3.50/entry after 6pm and whole day

PH/Sunday. But for me still ok because of convenient.

And if I go Orchard more than half a day on weekday/Sat. I will park at Novena sq also.

Now day if you park your car at Orchard more than half a day. It can easily cost you more than

$20 and never mention about jam and ERP also.

eh.. PH/sunday where got ERP?

and sunday half a day $20? where u park? kena summon by fatimah ah? [confused]

and if you take MRT to and from novena sq to orchard, how much is it for a two way trip, multiple by maybe a family of 2-4. then the time, effort to carry shopping onto MRt and car park charges at novena sq... is it worth it?

paragon, my friend.. it's more atas.. [laugh]

forum have that stupid turn left and go one big round before u exit..

usually i just turn right to exit if there's no car

Exit is easy, but try going in during lunch time. A quarter of the lunch time is spent inching forward from the Orchard Road to Bideford and waiting for the Full lighted signage to go off.

Parking at Shaw House is the cheapest, but try not to go there during Isetan private sales.

I park at Paragon once. But what turns me off is the traffic lights turning before reaching Paragon...Forever crowded with pedestrians and the 2 left lanes always got cars and taxis. [furious]

the usually traffic start stop is common but when you go forum, also need to turn out to orchard road or uses cuscaden.. not must diff..

and forum is further away from the action. we drive for convenience, not to save money..

can't image people parking far away and carrying bags and bags of shopping to the car...

the entrance of the carpark is worsening the traffic... not to mention those stupid trucks and lorry who treats the road like a public car park... authorities have to do something!!

Not just the car park, Orchard Central's shops layout makes you feel like a lab rat being manipulated within a maze.

Unlikely to return, walkway is sooo tight at a number of spots in the mall.

You heard of mickey mouse units in condos. Now you can experience the shopping mall equivalent.

hopefully the new mall (313@Somerset) will have better layout ...

good thing about Orchard Central is its still very quiet, can bring kids and walk around.

huh? square 2 already make me damn giddy...

yes u sld try orchard central [sweatdrop]

u need to drive up dunno to 8th level? den can exit down to find carpark lots and each level has limited lots.

and if u still cant find a lot...good luck...u have to join the merry go round again at 4th floor? and go up and try further up, exit, and back to same cycle...

that time when i was exiting, the car in front of me must have gone dizzy from the rounds and the speed got slower n slower... [sweatdrop]

ironically, Orchard Central shopping layout is similar to Square 2. hidden corners here n there...there is nothing much about tat place except for my fave jap restaurant Ootoya.
