I might be getting my first 2nd hand car , currently shortlisted two of cars which is the honda jazz and toyota axio ( both are registered in the year 2007 )

axio --> http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=59615&DL=1222 ://http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/...15&DL=1222

jazz --> http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=58918&DL=1094 ://http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/...18&DL=1094

budget is between 40k - 46k . FC wise is a main factor . Give me some comments on the two above or even other suggestions .

the usual hidden cost if any, if got accident and of course; if there is any major wear and tear before purchasing.

i'm also looking at 2 used cars in the form of vios and swift 1.5

Frankly, the price is a bit steep for 2nd hand 1.6SS 2005.

In fact, it should be around $26K.

If bought direct, $24K definitely possible.

Cut off dealers if you can.

i hv gone to see the car & chk the logcard, there is 01 transfer but apparently is the 1st owner sell to dealer & dealer trf into his shop's name so 01 transfer.

is it true that trf to dealer's co name will incur 1 transfer count?

Check the transfer dates. You should be able to see....usually dealers do not do a transfer cos not only the incurr a extra owner, they have to pay LTA transfer fee as well.

IMHO....its a decent car. The manual one should be able to get at least 10km/L. Easy to drive + nice features in the Sunny.

For the money, Sunny is not that bad if you are not fussy about performance, and not too worried about gas consumption. In terms of ride comfort, I have a very good impression of the car.
