Fireball0088 5th Gear February 1, 2010 Share February 1, 2010 contentiously, its about control the user has. if its an idiot-proof box that allows you to simply watch pirated material, then the infringement likelihood is higher. if a user has a lot of control, like a PC, and the user has made a conscious choice to watch pirated material, the PC seller has less control and less liability. simply, if i sell you a pirated CD, theres nothing more you can do but watch it (maybe can use as a coaster, but i doubt the court will buy it), and so I am surely in the wrong. but if i sell a blank cd, and i didnt tell you to burn pirated material on it, its not my fault if you did! :-) in short, FS has to bring in a box with more option other than watching pirated material Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Since if by local law is not legal, but the access are not block,are we mean we allow by ISP? another contradicting issue? If they allow,means ok?if violate rules, illegal, should stop like China blocking some sites to their countries man.
