I only saw an orleng Murano on the slowest lane, frontal contact, car facing those condos. Can't see much cos I was exiting the Fort Rd exit. A lot of kaypoh slowing down to see see look look. I can't be bothered, just had a glance and moved on.

I drove past and there was a white car front smashed up and facing me.

I was on the 1st lane and me and my gf cant make out what make it is haha.

After that my attention was diverted to this impatient white garllardo that sped off immediately after the bottleneck was cleared.

on the bike forum a forumer claimed a young biker died in that accident mentioned by TS (location and timing matched) after "being hit by an oncoming car from the other lane". the TS didnt clarify exactly what he meant and we all wondering wat happened. making a turn and hit by oncoming vehicle? vehicle on opp lane crashed and went over divider to hit biker? donno.

I was driving back from KL that day and I was coming towards Bayshore when I passed that accident. (I remember thinking that how odd is to see such a bad incident so close to home when I didn't see anything both ways to/from KL). There was a bike totally jammed and smashed up under a Car. The car was facing the wrong way (towards city), which was odd as there is no way a car can be facing that way on ECP. There was a lady driver on phone outside the car and the biker was on a stretcher just outside an ambulance. He seemed alive to me (he had a neck support on and his helmet was there next to the stretcher). There were a few others cars stopped on the shoulder with some westerners looking around. It didnt seem like a fatal accident...at least then

saw accident site about 10 mins after it happened, was going towards Changi on ECP and saw a bike smashed into an orange suv facing the wrong direction, with lots of debri on the road. at that time only a small jam of about 100m from the accident scene

slightly further down the road was the motorcyclist lying down on the road and some people standing beside him. the motorcyclist was without his helmet, probably removed by the people standing beside him. motorcyclist had very bad abrasions on his left side and was bleeding....

felt very sorry for the motorcyclist and was sad to read that he didnt survive.... may he RIP

anyway was shocked to find out that the car actually flew over the centre divider from the opposite direction.... this could have happened to anyone, driving along ECP then suddenly a car comes flying over the divider, how do you avoid? i'll be too shocked honestly.... and i count myself lucky that i wasnt there 10 mins earlier

But there's a speed camera there leh. It must be a sight to behold for the car to "fly over" to the opposite direction.

the speed cam not in operation

I know for one direction it's not. I was at the down slope when I passby the accident site where camera is inactive. So if the car came from the other direction like the newspaper said. That side the camera is active.

Ya I was reading the zaobao link and had to reread the statement about flying over the central divider a few times to realise there was no typo! My god... a flying car... I was there as well at about 630pm and cannot imagine if I decided to depart earlier I would have been on the spot when it happened.
