Blackseal 1st Gear October 21, 2009 Share October 21, 2009 actually the LF-A is slightly slower from 0-100 (3.7sec vs 3.5sec - 3.5s is achieved at an independent american website) But in terms of top speed, LF-A is still slightly faster (325km/h vs 310km/h) You are wrong.....official specs by Nissan for GTR is 4.1 secs for 0 to 100 km/h acceleration. The 3.5 secs quoted is for 0 to 60 mph ! The LF-A is the faster car for such acceleration..

GTR is no doubt a very fast car and even more amazing with the aftermarket available for the king. Is the $300k+ pricetag in USD? If it is, Isn't that gonna be priced against the big bulls(Lp670) and the great stallions(599 GTB)?

Even more amazing after some "minor" done up. Edited October 21, 2009 by Nicholasl

Must compare stock vs stock....no point with minor or major mod....not fair.... Still I think the LFA should be slightly faster than the GTR stock vs stock

Was giving additional info on the modification part. I agree that LFA should be faster. Am curious about its track timing. Hungee Neutral Newbie October 22, 2009 Share October 22, 2009 But if LFA is 4.something Litre engine (?) while GTR is 3.something ... being a layman, isn't it rightful that LFA should be faster in century sprint ?
Eyke Supercharged October 22, 2009 Share October 22, 2009 pure marketing exercise, just to be able to shout: hey, we can be sporty too! even with the high price tag, they'll probably be losing money on this car. they should have spent all that time, effort and money on developing the FT86; a car that stands to make a profit for them and that the masses can actually get to drive. GTR got twin turbo, LFA got no turbo. Hence hard to say which has more hp/torque. Depends on what the engineers want to emphasize on.

Dun forget GTR is 3.8 Twin turbo setup....LFA is only 4.8 NA....so it's actually quite half fight stock vs stock

Alfisti168 1st Gear October 24, 2009 Author Share October 24, 2009 I think track time could be pretty similar or slightly faster for LFA I bet it would be faster. With lower weight and more high-rpm power, GT-R's 7:26.70 timing in the nurburgring will be broken.
Torquemonster 1st Gear October 24, 2009 Share October 24, 2009 guys, jus saw this car on the on the other website.. its gonna cost quite alot, much more expensive then a lamborghini murcielago, a ferrari 458 or a ferrari 599.. US$375,000 to be exact.. thats about 5 nissan GTRs.. but i gotta admit, its got quite an amazing engine. V10 that have 10 individual throttle bodies - one for each cylinder! and its a V10 that revs to 9000rpm.. its the worlds first! here the site: http://paultan.org/2009/10/21/552-horsepow...u-need-to-know/
Torquemonster 1st Gear October 24, 2009 Share October 24, 2009 guys, pls dont compare this to a nissan GTR.. because this car cost 5 times as much as a GTR.. ↡ Advertisement
