Maybe to change tyre...might as well diy than risk being damage by poor handling...

i usually leave it to them. they have installed more internal and external sensors than me. if they can also screw up such a simple task , then it is a shop that needs to be avoided.

Just did rotation at Kim Hoe, they change swap my external sensors for me also. Just a simple task as mentioned

I jinx it when I talked about "totally flat"...my front right is now deflated. Suspect it is either I over tighten or under tighten the sensor to the valve 😢

Next time when replacing tyres just install an internal set at the same time. No over/under problems.

But need to go tyre shop to get them off then again for the next ride.

Only 30 odd dollars for the whole set, labour cost will be at least 2, 3 times that! Just sell the car along with the TPMS.

Supposed to be my long term hold "investment" to maximise roi

It's air leak caused by the sensor. Cost me $80 for tyre recovery service. I'm so gonna buy one of these on Saturday 😁

external is better in my opnion, easier to just order online and change yourself if faulty. So far I've changed 3 set.
