Has Chartered Semiconductor been delisted?

Any official announcement made?

 

 

What will happen to those that have bought the shares..... do have any idea?

Its a done deal @ $2.68/share (after 10 to 1) means they are selling the company for $0.268/share.

In the hey days, its been trading > $100/share I heard somewhere - dunno its true or not.

 

Spore companies cannot compete with other Wafer companies because we run too slow.

After years of getting all the top top Electronics Corps here, we did not rub off much Tech know how... But our

Taiwan Kia, Tiong Kok Kia all very clever...

The highest I am aware is about $17~18 per share, and thats only a few months after listing at $2+ .

 

Was surprise that it was sold for $2.68 a share when I heard it over the news .... now then I realised it is after 10 to 1 share reduction [:p]

never know its consolidation.. [laugh]

 

i tot privatise or delist, they will pay investor at certain amount?

 

Sxhuan iirc or which in last 1-2 months give a good price on offer..70c+ but shoot up and offer 80-90c+

Sxhuan is kana takeover at high price,and their share shoot up [laugh]

 

btw Chartered got say delist meh?news from where?

 

Take over doesnt means delist..infact is a good news..

its mentioned 2 weeks ago on straits times... the money section... its not good news... the investors are getting little money back... might not even get back money.. its confirmed!!!

 

they said it during the EOGM

most likely they will suspend the share 1st and wait.....it can take up to a few years to leave this suspension....

delist not good i mean good is take over..

 

recently so many take over..all shoot like crazy..if u notice, before Chartered annouce the news,accumulations and break out took place 2 times at least..

 

recently there's 1 going on too [laugh]

its delisting from SE...

 

the stocks are worthless now.

Global Foundries do have plans to privatize it but its not confirmed yet.

 

Most likely, those that bought the stocks would be paid the amount ATIC paid per share for as a buy back.

TSMC is suing SMIC US$2 billion for IP infringement and blunt copying of their process.
