Supposedly the 2.0 is same price - makes no sense to get it because usually it is 6k cheaper than 2.5.

 

I believe for 2.0, you gotta wait till next round promo - now they are pulling in the buyers who were aiming for 2.5 or are ok with either. Some time later they should be targetting the buyers who only want 2.0.

Memory seat,cos got 2 drivers

Ventilated front seats

Rear power sunshade

Quiet , further enchance with some sound proofing

 

 

 

Dislike

 

Interior color too light , no option for darker shade

Back seat still unable to recline

Wipers was squeaky but they change for me (goodwill) on my 1000 km service

Miss the small side pocket (central console)near the brake pedal. This was where I use to put my wallet

Unable to meddle with the HU when car is moving ( safety reason )

Lousy stock speakers

No CD changer

 

Overall still love the car as my previous ride gave me minimal issues even after clocking 250k for close to 8 yrs. So hoping this car will be the same .. Minimal issues :)

CD Changer? Havent heard this for a long time. You can transfer all your songs to thumb drive and listen from there.....

Btw, Camry giving the InTouch HU? How is it? What do you mean by 'unable to meddle with HU when car is moving?' As in cannot watch video or unable to switch eg. radio channels.

I opt for guarantee COE, Camry 2.5 and the final price is 140,988. After minus the in house insurance and loan rebate and loyalty discount. This price also include the car grooming package within 2 years if I am not wrong.

 

Have asked for carmat since this is standard when I purchase my other previous car but was told that BM is not allowed to give any free carmat.

 

Nothing else are given and I guess this is pretty standard.

At first I wanted pearl white but this color not available during next month shipment. I choosed the metallic gray instead. The brown is ugly imo. I owned black color before so leave me not many choice to choose for grey.

 

What color did you get? Congrats bro. This is my 2nd Camry. Change from continental car and I still prefer Toyota Camry:)

 

Your price is not bad at 139k. This is the lowest price for Camry 2.5 for the past many months if I am not wrong. How could you manage to get at this super price? Is there any other special condition for this price?

Haha ok .. I old school .Yeah also using the Sd card slot and Bluetooth from my iPhone . Yeah come with the Intouch HU. Can change radio stns / vol , but things like fader/gps/radio to Bluetooth &vice Versa car must not be in motion . Also connecting to Bluetooth will also take awhile . Have not tried watching video . Phone using BT works fine and sound is clear .

 

Also like the keyless system ( previous ride don't have )

Some of the car lock options was not successful trying on my own ( from car manual ) in the end ask the Svc personal to change for me . Ask him to teach me he say easier to just use their computer to set it.

Beside the grooming etc , there also a one year minor scratch and dent repair (up to certain qty and size).

My close relative got 137.5k non-guaranteed.

 

free front camera and 2 car grooming sessions.

 

And of course 1 year free servicing.

you cant watch video when the car is on the move. safety feature. you can install a switch to 'over-ride' the function if you want to watch or at least the front passenger wants to watch.

 

I am thinking of adding a tv tuner to the HU. ever consider?

Do you know where can to install the switch and overwrite the safety feature? Would that Toyota warranty be voided in this case since this is modification? My previous car does not allow me to overwrite this feature as the warranty will void if I modify it.

most audio shop can do it. my current (soon to be previous) ride, the audio shop would change the HU, ask me if I want to install and I said yes.

Didn't know that there is such a over ride switch . How much it cost and where to install ? Not thinking of installing tv tuner with this time and age with iPad / smart phone and also no young children that need these entertainment :)
