Taxi driver beat red light

This morning I was around bishan area. Saw a taxi beat red light just to pick up passenger. Cuz he saw a taxi from another direction signalling to turn right where the passenger was trying to flag down a taxi. So when he saw the road clear only he just floored the accelerator and picked up the passenger.

i'm seeing more of such cases recently.

 

somehow i seem to notice that scramblers like to dash red light (small neighbourhood roads)

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Cab driver was unethical in doing that, but I believe he himself had once faced the exact same situation, and was on the receiving end of the stick!

No chance to see his license plate. Didnt expect him to do that and he accelerated really quickly.

Waste of effort going to the taxi companies. They will just mention investigations on going la, no evidence la etc and forgotten about it in the end.

 

Even if caught the driver they will say the driver will be dealt with, but who will believe or got time to go check it out?at most the driver kena sacked then he jump to another. Case closed by the company relieved of their duties and getting rid of another errant driver, save their big fat ass.

 

Only way is to get some video/photo evidence and send to TP instead. No point put on STOMP either, with all those muther fookers that leave idiotic comments...

In future, watch out for all vehicles before crossing the road. Nowadays, drivers tend to ignore traffic light if that isn't any camera.
