VX engine oil in Carrefour

for me i looking for ppl to change for me, but still waiting for c-----e to hv promo for w30 oil. seems like for w30 only c-----e is ACEA A3 approve

 

Other 30 weight ACEA A3 oil:

Amsoil ACD 10w30

Redline 5w30 (I think)

Redline 10w30 (I think)

Mobil 1 10w30 HM

Castrol Edge 0W30

This price is really value for $$. Does it have any API rating? Or some other internationally accepted form of rating so at least we know it meets some kind of standard?

 

After u use for 10K km, please post again for your comments like smoothness etc.

 

Pity I still got abt 6 lit of CL 5w40 balance from my last buy.

I saw last week NTUC Xtra has CL30weight fully synthetic at $9.80/lit. Buy 4 bot & get 1 free.

 

Not sure if the promo is still on but that is an indication on what to expect in terms of pricing for it.

I used to get from Pacific Petroleum in Penjuru. Mr. Bull.

 

Now I dunno if he still do retail. I think he more interested in selling in bigger quantities but last time I get the pail from him was only about $8/lit or something.

 

Maybe can consider trying again if anybody here wants to share with me.

 

Last time I get 2-3 kaki & we share a pail of 21 lit.

Unless someone tries it & does the testing & oil analysis to see how it performs.

According to Amsoil website, ACD can be use on gasoline engine (petrol) requiring API SL, SJ, SH. Its only a recommendation from Amsoil, not certified SL, SJ, SG. Also mentioned was "ACEA A3/B3", which is a petrol engine specification. Its a HDEO.

c_____e w30 promo was just over. Giant sold at $38.99 for 5-litre bottle. I've waited very long for this to happen
