Quiet Areas / Roads

Nope, this question is not meant for me to find out where to make out although I am as tiko as can be....

I got a car for my wife and since she has laid off driving for 10 years, I gonna give her a refreshing course. Hence I am looking for roads with little traffic and secluded so that we do not expose ourselves to any danger.

Can anyone propose any places?

Tuas is good. If too far for you, try those industrial estates near to your home. Expect lesser traffic during weekends daytime. More convenient for other roadusers who can easily overtake your vehicle when necessary.

go to some ulu MSCP. . .

when your OC got the hang of it can bring her go to the roads mentioned above. . .

better still if you can get clearance to Jurong Island. . . [lipsrsealed]

long stretch of highway with minimum vehicles at night. . . [thumbsup]

East you have Changi. Next to the runway & also into Changi Naval Camp & Expo area.

West - Tuas

South - Marina, Kallang carparks, International Plaza area.

North - Thomson road, Selater.

paris ris near the farmway & semicon park. there's a BIG lorry park there. u can practice there (but not at night cos the vehicles will be coming in to park). i go there once a while to practice my handbrake turns haha.

u can also drive along the farmway (but not weekends though cos it's crowded). the road is relatively straight with a few turnings and few if no cars. At the dead ends, can practice 3 pt or 2 pt turns without having to worry abt other cars. if u want to practice parking, just drive into one of the many pet or fish farms - they have proper parking lots ! haha.
