i would buy my own oil and get them to change it.

Castrol is good from my last oil change. Engine still very smooth at the end of my 10k mileage.

Actually Castrol and BP same same. Anyway, you can get Castrol 0W-40 and 5W-40 at Forklift Enterprise for $75 and $85 respectively. Good price if you asked me. Free big umbrella too, I like! :D

Actually Castrol not bad, always got free gift. I have got foldable director chair, portable lamp and umbrella from them liao. [:p]

Mobil 1 Gold 0W-40 at $80 there too.

Wow so many people use expensive oil.

I just use any cheap oil I can find. Some from

bottles opened a few year ago.

Carloop, Chevron, Schaeffer, Royal Purple, Helix

Sometimes just 1 or 2 litres all mixed togther.

Last change was yellow + red + purple.

If my car breaks down from oil failure, I will

post and let everyone know not to do this.

I forgot to add - I mixed grades as well as brands.

So 5W-40 with 5W-30 from different brands and

full syn with semi syn.

Whats your oil change schedule. If its 5000ks to 10000ks it should be fine. Would advise on using oil thats been open for so long though.

How is castrol engine oil>?? gives good mileage? Among SHell, Mobil, Elf and Castrol..which one gives best mileage for same grade of oil?

I love elf but its not value for money in sg. Of those four, i only wouldnt run shell [laugh]

grade is 5w40. The PI only carry Xw40 for all oils

I suggest you do what Robo has said. BYO. I go to a PI workshop too, and they had no issues with me BYO.

I always change at 5k km bro. A bit waste as a lot of life in the oil still.
