Hi all,

going to change tyres and have some quotes from some shops..

1) Hankook K415 - S$80 per piece

2) Yokohama A300 - S$75 per piece

3) Thunderer Mach 1 (Made in Thailand) - S$75per piece

i think i would most likely be going for Hankook K415..

cos i have never heard of thunderer mach 1 before..

yokohama A300 and Hankook K415, which one better??

thanks

Last time I bought my Michelin XM1 185/65/14 for about $85 each.

Maybe u can consider this tire? It is very lasting & performes well too.

Turbocharged

The Yokohama AA01 and Bridgestone MY01 Sports Tourer are priced in the same range and are worth considering too.

forget about AA001, if going to choose, it will be bridgestone.

i'm on 185/65/14, using Michellin XM1

for 14", there are not much choices.

if you want MIJ stuff, maybe Toyo or yokohama ES501(DB)

i find that Japan tyres are better in terms of construction as compared to Asia stuff

icic...im nt looking at the yoko a drive (made in phillipine 75/pc) vs hankook k415 (made in korea 80 per pc)....might even consider a300 if its 75 bucks.

the shop offering a drive provides free tyre rotation for lifetime of tyres if 4 purchased...but being an ROPC (so a bit hard to hit that 10k mark b4 my tyres age) im nt sure if its worth it in the long run as compared to getting korean made but pay 20 dollars more for all 4 tyres.

My personal order of preference between these few choices..

1) XM1

2) K415

3) A.Drive
