HaiZ, this is part of the game for drivers in Sg. The TP rule states

1.that the rightmost lane is for overtaking only.

2.that you should not exceed the speed limit of eg. 90kmh

So, if vehicles are moving at 90kmh, what is the speed that a driver should accelerate up to if he/she were to overtake a 90kmh vehicle beside? [hur]

if he/she quickly acc up ti 110kmh and above, will be able to overtake 1-2 cars swiftly..in a matter of a few seconds. and kana clickclick by camera.

if he/she only acc up to 100kmh, will take along time to overtake even 1 car, and will be catergorised as 'HOGGER' by other drivers, worse so if the car that he/she is trying to overtake suddenly acc to prevent being overtaken (very common)

So how?? My conclusion is, driving in SG is stressful...too fast kena clickclick, slower kena 'hogger category. The best is gwai gwai drive slow slow on lane 2.

I recently got 6pts 150 for driving at 96kmh along bradell-lornie flyover..speed limit 70kmh, appeal unsuccessful. and again kena 130fine for driving on stupid bus lane which has only about 10m of broken line for u to filter out, in the process of appealing.. [furious]

Are you being deliberately dense? Isn't obvious that the answer to your question is that you should not be seeking to overtake a vehicle moving at 90km/h because it serves no point if you're not intending to speed.

ya, allowed. but the broken line is very very short at some places, when turning out to main road, have to filter out almost immediately..
