Yuan: I fully agree with what you says, at that point when i saw what the swift did to my wife, lost my cool..i don't mind if it happens to me, I also don't like to look for trouble, my wife is married to me, if I don't even stand up for her, what kind of a husband will I be then?

zyrofillica: I'm certain his car will not be able to keep up if I throttle up, and i made sure he'll not touch me too..hehe..enough torque on bike =P

Bro, I understand what you are going thru. I am married too. A lot of things easier said than done. We can say and talk but when things happen, sometimes we will lose it and act on what we think or feel is best to protect our loved ones...

what i did was quite idiotic too...sped up and cut right in front of him and jam brake =P.. then proceed to ride at constant speed...the swift driver tried to overtake( damn dangerously, causing other vehicles to execute ebrake to avoid him just so he could catch up...), traffic starts to get heavy on that stretch. Then we turn into toh guan rd, that's when i slowed down to 'wait' for him also to let him pass. Funny thing is he did not try to overtake even on a clear stretch?? Realised, after the turn into bt batok, he was filming me with a camera, 1 hand on steering wheel and the other holding camera out of car???

Next traffic light stop, purposely stop in a way, he'll be beside me. he start ranting about how dangerous i rode, he'll report to tp.. I reminded him the way he overtook my wife was very dangerous too and guess what he said? ' She cut me first' I was like WTF???then he start ranting again,'YOU'RE A HOOLIGAN...YOU'RE A HOOLIGAN..A MURDERER...I'LL REPORT YOU TO TRAFFIC POLICE...I GOT VIDEO EVIDENCE..' it was quite amusing actually..

I asked him 'politely' if he wants to stop by the road side and 'talk'? all he said was,' WHAT..WHAT..WHAT..NOTHING TO TALK..YOU'RE A HOOLIGAN!!'

All i can say is, want to pick a fight, pick on a lady riding a scooter?? When i ask him to come down and talk, don't dare to??

well, from your original thread, not very certain about who's right and wrong. what you did was dangerous too. also the SS has no balls.

if the person doesn't what to talk, why not follow him home. it will scare the shxt out of him. [laugh]

Hi TS,

I don't know whether you are a Always Mr Nice Guy (some self centered people thinks they are and everyone in the world owns them) or not.

I feel that you are in general nice to others and protective to your family as you did admit the wrong actions wat you did to others when others don't dare to speak up.

From my experience, driving in convoys are dangerous as we tend to have a little more attention to the drivers/riders in the convoys more then it is require.

Whether travelling side by side or front & back create a small road block to others as different drivers/riders has different speed which they naturally travel.

The SWIFT driver did a un-gentleman driving as one should not challenge a female biker but as riders' skin is covering metal, you are already at the losing end and don't take any more risk as to challenge back. Try to hold your temper (although it is hard) but you will be the losing one when skin touches the ground.

When you see something like that in future, hold your temper and you might have a better day afterwards.

HI TS

i generally say that what you do is okey

but what your wife and you do is not okey

if im not wrong both of u are take 2 lanes?

during a ride or convoy of bikes, pls remember to use only 1lane so not to obsturct others

yeah i did some convey trips (bike ) from sg to Kl, we only use 1 lane, we call it lane discipline

i admit i will do the same if any cars or even bikes just cut through the lane anyhow [sly]

neway do have a good enjoyable journey [thumbsup]

You do have a point there, IF we're taking a lane each then it's not a friendly and good thing to do..but, i was trying to switch lane to join my wife when the swift came swiftly up so, if i change lane still, then i'll be 'cutting into his lane.. Lane discipline is something I'm quite anal about..

Hi, I try to be nice to others, but sometimes, we can't control how others will react...and I'm no angel too [:p] ..we're just going home after dinner with our parents and not traveling in convoy or anything..and yes, I do agree with you, driving in convoys usually cause inconvenience to other road users...unless driving into malaysia, i find convoy style in singapore is an overkill...

that's why i also feel what i did was quite idiotic...well what's done has been done...will have to remind myself next time is it worth it..

This swift driver reminds me of a "Mad" silver cab toyota crown driver. provoke other first than take out handphone take picture and later rant loudly and KPKB.

This type of people insecure one, best to leave them alone, don't bring yourself down to his level.

Agree with you on this...will remember this 'IF' ever such things happens again..hopefully not..
