i mean base on your calculation but cause u put 19mth there but the car is aug2009 so is only 8 mth.

second hand resale Picanto 1.1 (M) - 13-Aug-2009 (19mths)= $32,800:

http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...051&DL=1198

New Picanto price at aug 2009 = $38999

38999-32800=$6199

6199/8=774 per mth

774*12=$9288 per year

sorry if i misunderstand ya calculation..

so will u recommend me to get a old version 2005 picanto which is ard 20k than a 33k 09picanto?

6199/19=$326 per mth

326.26*12=$3915 per year

Of course that is based on resale value the speculator placed.

it left 101mths

so:

32800/101=324.75 per year you got to pay per mth.

that is excluding interest loan.

Page could not be found.

I guess someone bought it.

I will definately not buy it.

I rather pay for a new car.

and it had to be below 500 mthly installment .

anything higher is go for new car.

so you choice.

plus a lot of good cheap new car around

why consider second car when the new one is so cheap.

plus if you're a MIJ fan.

Mitsubishi had new Lancer MR at 55k est.

Good luck in your hand.

I was watching the price for Picanto for a few weeks. Price got up high crazely. Now close to 50000 for auto. Facelift add $3000 and then price is up another $2500 this week. What is going on? [bigcry]

read the govt announcement on the coe quota to understand more. all types of cars are affected. even a chery qq will be hitting 45k soon.

so it is still cheaper and more affordable to buy a Chery QQ at 45K than the rest of the cars at today market rate?

With implementation of the gov new COE policy, i reckon the COE prices will only be going up properly hitting 23k easily end of 4th quarter. so got $$ better buy earlier. if not get 2nd hand car, registered ard nov 2008 to march 2009. reason that time COE reasonable cheap.

car dealers take the chance to up the prices of their 2nd hand cars, regardless of how cheap the coe was.

True, looking at it...

The second hand dealer is taking the chance to selling the car more expensive than it really is.

but cheaper then the market price...

a much close to depreciated price...

I bought my car 1 yr back at 48k

now the exact same car cost 58k.

I can jolly well post to sell my car at 48k now...

buy or no buy depend on buyer...

If i thought of that.. so can the second hand dealer...

but to raise the price... also need to see other people price...

so slightly lower than second dealer...

but i will not sell my car...

it is a affortable car to own...

I bought the car at the right time...

hahahaha...

Friend, wanna buy car. buy now...

I speculate it will raise even higher after COE qouta cut...

You can either buy second car after that or get BMW(Bus Mrt Walk)...

My advice is now or never...

:P

But then again... economy come in cycle....

you can still save up and wait for the next economy crisis to hit...

If you are not earning much...

Dun rush into buying car...

The commitment is fierce...

I earn 3k plus...

Owned a 48K MIK car...

The installment and the fee/petrol/insurance kill all my saving...

Abit regret buying a money burning machine...

but i need to fix my leg itchy and NFS problem...

I need to step on accelerator!!!

:P

:D

I have been driving Picanto for 3 yrs 5 months. So far it doesnt give me any major problem. Furthermore it accompany me to Tuas everyday. To find out more on your ride, you may log in to sgkiaclub.

:D I strongly agree with u bro,KIA Picanto is a great car. Mine almost 4yrs now,60K mileage and juz change the car battery and tyre. I hope to be more adventurous in tuning up or do some cosmetic changes on mine pica...but i kept it at stock condition. Im juz glad i had chosen Pica over some other brand of the same specs.

I believe,i seldom see any Picanto on highway or rdway having breakdwn. Only one puncture tyre...n tats mine...hehehehehe! [rolleyes]

All bros who drive Picanto,

I've been driving Picanto coming to 2 years. So far experienced one issue with the fuel pump. The fuel pump broke down. Fortunately, this failure is covered by warranty. However, this failure has shaken my confidence in the reliability of my car. Would like to find out from the rest of you on your experiences with your Picanto. Pls kindly share about any reliability issue with the car. Tks in advance.

I have ever sitted my friend's Picanto on NSHW, it could hit 160km/h still quite stable [thumbsup]
