Celicar Turbocharged April 12, 2010 Share April 12, 2010 30sgd @ NTUC for 2sgd ESSO voucher 50sgd @ ESSO for 2sgd NTUC voucher Btw, i got 10+ NTUC voucher for just pumping 50sgd+ petrol. I think they not bothered with how many NTUC vouchers you take because every $50 spent at NTUC then can get $2 discount, more vouchers also no use. Lufu 1st Gear May 4, 2010 Share May 4, 2010 Hi all, Just want to ask those who use citibank dividend card and pump at esso stations if they also use the esso mobil privilege card. Some say that there's additional discount but I don't know how it works lei. Normally I use the dividend card and get 14.5% (10% + 5% rebate off total bill). - Does esso mobil privilege card give additional discount? - Do I pay with dividend card or with esso mobil privilege card? - What's the best card to use for esso stations? Would appreciate if any esso users can share. According to Citibank call center: you need to show the cashier your Citibank Esso Mobil Privilege Card to enjoy the additional 5% upfront discount but charge the transaction to your Citibank Dividend Card to enjoy the other 5% cash back from Citibank

Shanhz 3rd Gear May 4, 2010 Share May 4, 2010 According to Citibank call center: you need to show the cashier your Citibank Esso Mobil Privilege Card to enjoy the additional 5% upfront discount but charge the transaction to your Citibank Dividend Card to enjoy the other 5% cash back from Citibank best is to link your dividend card to your EM privilege card, then show only the privilege card during payment
Showtime Neutral Newbie May 4, 2010 Share May 4, 2010 does it mean that if the card number on the privilege card and the citi dividend card is the same, the cards are linked?
Weigege Neutral Newbie May 4, 2010 Share May 4, 2010 u need to call citibank to link those 2 cards together.
Kopitehc Neutral Newbie May 6, 2010 Share May 6, 2010 Nobody can help with my queries on using the esso mobil privilege card? Actually i have been reading petrolwatch for sometime already on Esso but i'm also quite confused with the discounts, why they make it so complicated. I reckon that the Esso Mobile Privilege Card by Citibank will give additional discount as its linked to the Citibank Dividend Card to give up to 17.8% if pump $400 and below per month. I think just bring the EMPC / CITIBANK Dividend Card will do? I'm not sure, i will be pumping soon, i will check with the cashier there on which is a better promotion soon. :) I will just bring all the cards there LOL
Kopitehc Neutral Newbie May 6, 2010 Share May 6, 2010 does it mean that if the card number on the privilege card and the citi dividend card is the same, the cards are linked? the numbers on both cards are different, must call to link? i applied the card on the same application form, shouldn't they just link it automatically? Showtime Neutral Newbie May 7, 2010 Share May 7, 2010 the numbers on both cards are different, must call to link? i applied the card on the same application form, shouldn't they just link it automatically? if you checked the box to link them upon application, the esso card you receive should reflect the same number as your citi card. mine did. OeteM 1st Gear May 7, 2010 Share May 7, 2010 It is not true for mine. For me, both cards are linked however My Esso Mobil Privilege Card and Citibank Dividend Card have different 16 digits numbers.

Yes, i check the box upon application, but the numbers are different. Anyway, i decided to sign by DBS Esso since its straight discount of 13% as I seldom use Citibank Cards unless i go Tangs which give me 10% rebate when i shop. Kb27 Supersonic May 7, 2010 Share May 7, 2010 Pumped on 2nd May, NO MORE $2/ ESSO voucher! I wanted to pump yesterday, but the $2 esso voucher already expired in Apr. So I went with SPC for 15% discount with everyday card for the month of May.
Kb27 Supersonic May 7, 2010 Share May 7, 2010 If I pump Esso, I'll use the DBS Esso card for straight upfront discount. Citibank discount is just too confusing with too much conditions. ↡ Advertisement
