Holidays got not upkeep, only photos.....

 

Car got to pay daily ERP, weekly petrol bill, monthly installment, yearly Road Tax, Insurance and quarterly maintainance ........

Not totally true. A car can cost aound 50K (not counting the interest, petrol, road tax, insurance, repairs, servicing, ERP, car park...etc)

 

Each average destination holiday may cost 5k with your partner. You can still go for at least another 10 holidays. Each holiday can leave a life time memories.

a car costs all in maybe 1k a month. while you can have a 10-12k holiday at the end of the year to europe. cost about the sae but which would you pick?

many family without car know that they can easily save $15K on maintenance of car (installment+expenses), this is as good as 2 holiday trip for family of 4, or a luxury one to europe or us.

i'd rather take the convenience of a car.

 

squeezing into a bus/mrt is not something very fun. holidays only for a few days. i'd rather enjoy every day more.

 

got holiday or not also not a big deal. i rather spend my $$$ on something i can keep for awhile and feel for sure

Holiday.. for family man is just like a tour agent and tour guide.. you need to take care of all the other needs during those holiday..

Waiting for the bus in the heat, jostling with aunties who barge everywhere, standing for a 1 hour bus ride that shakes nonestop, bus transfers, MRT squeeze, BO.....

My past cars cost around $1000 minimum per month to maintain. With that money, my wife and I can enroll for a weekend tour package once a month within the region.

Depends. I chose the car, but I've been jealous of people who end up going to USA for a holiday.

 

But.. The car is really like two extra pairs of legs..
