After exiting the CIQ, go the usual route where you will see the Shell station on the left, do not exit but go straight and up on the ramp where you will see the sign "Skudai". Just proceed straight ahead without turning anywhere until the end (<5 mins) where dead ahead you will have to turn right (the sign will show "danga bay"),

 

Proceed straight from there, will bypass the usual Angsana Shopping Centre on the right, still go straight. Look out for the sign placed along the road that says "Sutera Mall".It will be another 10mins drive. Keep left when the sign shows the arrow pointing to the left, and another 500m or so, turn left into Sutera Mall

 

FOR KIP MART TAMPOI - U dont have go to until Sutera Mall. It is after Angsana shopping centre, then u pass Giant Tampoi (both will be on your right), Then u reach the Perling intersection..... Right AFTER the intersection, keep LEFT, the first petrol station will be ESSO. Kip Mart is behind the ESSO Station.

 

Yeah u can eat there.....They open @10am until 8pm.

Just 2 questions, how is the quality? How is it compare to our regular D13, D101 and MSW?

For Pagoh farm, no such problem with flies..

 

but we do not have MSW @ the price of 25RM. But we are slightly nearer to Singapore than segamat.

 

Pagoh also got flies but only a handful. Our large group basically outnumbered the flies

Anyway I am so keen on the durian farm but I am fully booked for whole of July so if you all are going in August, jio me ok?

 

IF this 4/7 drive-up turn up well, I will bring my buddy & family again, becos they cannot fit into my revised date.

This would be after NDP. Then I will have to check whether the durians still available.

Hi Newbie here!

 

Let me share my last Sunday's field report at Pagoh. Please do not hassle me where is the location as I was brought there by my friend and I got no GPS with me at that time. Enjoy the photos below.

This is the my first trip to Malaysia for durian buffet and is a wonderful trip for me. I see most of the durian parties here need to pay RM30 for the buffet? The boss just keep open many varieties of durian for us to try and my friend told me the boss never collect any money from him since his first time there for the buffet.

 

That plantation is damn huge which I heard is 200 hectares The MSW is RM18/Kg while the normal grade, D88, D17, Golden Phoenix is about RM10~14/Kg.

 

After the buffet I took a ride to visit the plantation and the scenery is real spectacular, with over 1000 of MSW trees planted on high ground mountain. The mangosteen trees also as many as about near 800. Other fruits like passion fruit, Longkong, rambutan are all free to pluck as the boss too busy in dealing durian business and no manpower to take care of the rest.

 

Once again please dont hassle me for the coordinates or location which I dont know. Cheers!

They do sell the better quality one but those sell by the kilo. Got RM5 per kilo, RM6 per kilo even got RM8 per kilo. Quality wise, me no expert so cannot give comment. But the kampong durian the quality is surprisingly good.

 

Once durian season is full blown, they sell even cheaper - One durian for RM1..... Kip Mart is also famous for their mango...... During the Mango season u can get different size of mango and quality. The better one selling RM5 for 1 kilo - The honey golden mango from Thailand. Usually during durian season also mangosteen season, but this season not much mangosteen.
