V200 Neutral Newbie March 3, 2011 Author Share March 3, 2011 OOT abit. i noticed that most conti cars' headlights tend to turn "blur" after like 3yrs old. but for Jap/Kor cars' headlights, after 5yrs still as clear as crystal. how come ah? I have seen many jap cars headlights turn yellowish. I think it is because they park under sun. Most of the time. And don't wash often ?

5936 1st Gear March 4, 2011 Share March 4, 2011 Are you good with sand paper? I ruined my windscreen after I used sandpaper to to remove the rough surface. Now it was battled with scratches. So I have fear for sand paper on glass

Hoytusa84 1st Gear March 15, 2011 Share March 15, 2011 Some say you can use tooth paste and rub it on the affected area while others use expensive headlight treatment/cleaner solutions. Tell us if it works. Mine also fogged up and condense inside the headlamp after went into flood water.. How long should I leave the toothpaste on? Ichibawa 5th Gear March 16, 2011 Share March 16, 2011 Mine also fogged up and condense inside the headlamp after went into flood water.. How long should I leave the toothpaste on? Bro, no amount of rubbing and toothpaste is going to cure that. Its either you fill up the gaps or you can start choosing which guppies will look nice in your headlights for you to charm girls with. Chucky2007 Turbocharged March 16, 2011 Share March 16, 2011 actually apply wax over headlight plastics helps in preventing them from turning yellowish or blur. I wax car once every 3 month & also wax headlight, back signal lights, & wash car once evry 5 weeks or so. Car confirm dirty everytime but the headlight is always clear.. Same thing on 2 cars. My neighbour wash & wax every week, but never wax headlight. His car's paintwork looks new although car is 5 yr old.. But headlight looks old & used

I was so tempted to try it out that after reading the thread at 6am I went down wit a tube of Colgate and applied on my headlights! Surprisingly I left it for 8 hours and the condesation reduced! Anyway what kind of guppies you recommend? ↡ Advertisement
