Net Weight is used by USA

Nett Weight by UK

USA words always remove non-phonetical alphabets like Color, Favorite, Odor, Net

Very good [thumbsup]

curious..how were you taught in school to pronounce "Z" & "H"?

so how do u pronounce smelly and yellow? i got frends who pronounce yellow as yah-llow.

Yellow and smelly.

If you listen to most girls in JC or Uni, they pronounce REALLY as REEELLY...

And very often you hear :

Nowadays = Nowsaday

Film = FLIM

Bath = Baff

There = Dare

With = Wif

Teeth = Teef

Thank you = Tank Q U

Already = Oredi

God = Gourd

Excuse me =AcSkew me

Singlish should be an expression of our roots, not the roots of our expression.

Yes I agree. Even our Newscasters starting to say Fourteen Hundred and they don't speak Yanklish...

Sounds just Odd... Sometimes I hope they just stick to plain simple English - drop that accent...
