Unfair 3rd Gear July 17, 2010 Share July 17, 2010 I just changed my tires for GD1 Jazz. At Hankook at Shun Li Industrial park. Hankook Ventus v12. The uncle there very friendly. Workers also all on the ball one. What impressed me the most is the uncle fixed a kerb rash for me for FREE!!!. In and out within 1/2 hr. The boss of the tire shop at AMK always give attitude, so i went to try hankook. Got 195/50/15 profiles, should have gotten /55 profile. Now there is a large gap between the wheel arch...... JX83 3rd Gear July 17, 2010 Share July 17, 2010 (edited) Actually my advise would be to u either stay on 15 or 16.. Because i personally wasted around $600 change from 15 to 16 and again back to 15 again in less then 1 month.. Haha.. If u don wan the gap change to a coilover to lower ur ride.. 17" would be too heavy for our ride and fc will drop alot.. If u wan to know more on how to mod ur ride u might wan visit fitjazz club or ge club.. :) Edited July 17, 2010 by JX83

Unfair 3rd Gear July 22, 2010 Share July 22, 2010 (edited) Good rite ..pick up more power.. FC more good.. I dun understand why my FC should improve but it did. 185/60/15 = 74mm touching the road 195/50/15 = 97.5mm How come my FC can improve when the surface area in contact with the road goes up. The V12 is a directional tyre though, maybe that could be the cause. Edited July 22, 2010 by Unfair
Yuan 6th Gear July 22, 2010 Share July 22, 2010 Mine will be 15" Thinking of upgrade to 16" or even 17" for the looks. But then hor....got to have $$$. BEtter stick to the stock 15" In my opinion, 16" with wider tyres for more grip would still be reasonable. 17" might be too big an upgrade plus the other consideration would be the FC. I have upgraded from 15" to 16". My FC is still alright for me.
