Ironstarz 1st Gear August 2, 2010 Share August 2, 2010 it appear on my bill but of course it will be take out as I had a data package which had a 12GB free usage....But take note this kinda data package is only for local use...If you accidently connected in oversea.....if due to absent minded and did not turn off the data roaming................ good luck. prepare to sell house sell car to pay the bill.....so this is my caution to people using data......below is an extract from my bill.... I thought there is a cap on data usage. Around 30 SGD? No matter how much u use the max is only 30+ SGD ma . All you have to do is to register a V post account. after buying the ipad, ask them to ship to your authorized V post office or branch in US... then the V post will do the shipment to singapore. Yup... not really that cheap if consider this and that in proper normal procedure. My friend chio us to order together. Total ordered 4 pcs, my friend using his V post voucher for discount in shipment. As for tax, it is waived off totally... don ask me how... some loop hole... I got the 32GB, wifi + 3G at a cost of 751USD from my friend few months back which i pay back my friend 1025 SGD based on bank statement exchange rate... Blackyv Turbocharged August 2, 2010 Share August 2, 2010 frankly, those die hard fanboy wont buy what Qpad, Apad , blablabla even it cost 1/10 of the original ipad with the same quality..... dont forget, apple product is like a fashion, it's an icon....example, a fake LV is a fake LV, for those who buy original LV wont be bother with fake LV.... but for those who do not buy into fashion but practicality and gadget and value for money, those Qpad, apad are good alternatives... We should wait for the Andoird Tablets with 1gb processor and 32gb capacity + wifi + 3G + accelerometer to compare to an ipad with 32gb + wifi + 3G. You are right But also to add, it's not just about the hardware but software is the one that makes one device stand out from the rest... I used to like HTC - very powerful in terms of hardware but as hard as they tried, their interface and support is nowhere near Apple's... I saw the aPad, but its like 600mhz processor and on Android 1.7 Hoping to find 1ghz processor with android 2.1 at least. best upgradable to 2.2 Coz I wanna use it for videos too, and i hate the conversion required by Apple.
