STOMPer Woo saw this couple making out on a staircase landing at a Woodlands block, using the national flag as a mat.

 

Said the STOMPer:

 

"I saw this young couple opposite my block at Block 893 Woodlands Drive 50. on the staircase landing.

 

"They were using the national flag as a mat.

 

"As I was rushing to send my kids to school, I didn't stop them."

Sad for them..... dont use newspaper nevermind, go use State Flag.... making out think nobody bother, unless someone go record down the whole show..... but using state flag in this way..... hope the guy not yet 18years old.... else backside sure open flower...... Nobody complains about flags on the road being trampled by all sorts of vehicles why should they bother about this..

Hmmm...

1. Trying to draw power from state to make babies to support future singapore population. Kinda like my mum said hang pictures of babies in bedroom if want babies, go boink on flag if want babies

2. The boy unsure and wanted to draw power from the leadership of national flag

3. Maybe it is a urban legend go around that if have sex on flag won't get pregnant? I remember reading a while ago that 50% or Singapore men are impotent.

Seriously though. I am only reminded of quotes about the American flag when I see such things.

 

The true patriots there believe that to stop people dishonouring the flag is more dishourable to the ideals of the flag than those dishonouring the flag are being. (try to decipher that if you can)

 

For me, and my flag, I don't give two turds what people do to the flag - their actions can't influence my love for or belief in my nation. If your belief in your country is so fragile that this can hurt it, I think you have way more serious problems than people kissing on a flag.

I think probably an intentional act, which says a lot about STOMP as a site, the believability and quality of the stuff on stomp.

 

IF you don't like stomp, you should complain to your politician (I have three times so far) to get something done about it.

 

It's a fantastic site, for certain things (like Adrian's case, flood coverage etc etc) but they should do one hell of a lot more verification and put a stop to the petty tabloid journalism and sensationalism they indulge in. If they did this the site could be so much more.
