I only use apple at home, imac in my study and my wife using macbook pro. Close to 5 years liao, never had any problem at all, not even minor repair. And no need anti virus to slow down the system. Ok I don't usually do work stuff on my imac, as I do them on my company lappy if need to. imac is purely for personal use.

If you need to carry around in the house, mac air is good. If not, get the imac as it just look so good on your table [laugh] surfing around the house can now do on your ipad ^_^

RMC spotted. [laugh] [laugh]

you apple king ar.

i am thinking of mac air (something small that I can use and leave it around unnoticed) to replace my BIG dell computer with BIG desk to make more room. Now I don't use my PC very often. Just do some light office work but nothing fancy. Anyway, I have my office notebook. I have one old laser printer (black n white) and a inkjet AIO (which the scanner just died on me).

What something to do my file management (photos), light office work, printing, and surfing net. Thinking of getting a mac air and a laser AIO so whole house wireless can print anywhere plus iphone, ipad also can print.

You think the 11 or 13 inch is good? Now must "learn" how to use apple mouse....

Have you updated your Ipad to the new OS?

Ok then the mac air is good for you. if you do office work like word and excel should be no problem, since there is microsoft office for mac. Powerpoint slides if normal formatting should be ok, unless you use some advanced graphics on your windows laptop and transfer to your mac.

13 inch should be nice, unless you want smaller size, though reading for long may be a problem if the screen is too small.

OS 4.2? Yep, upgraded both iPad and iphone 3g liao [laugh]
