SE told me the engine Citroen bought the engine from Toyota.

By the way, went to test drive the Citroen Grand C4 Piccaso, love the ride, the interior the exterior... can say fall in love with this French beauty... but wanna do more research more committing.... [rolleyes]

Dont think is the psa engine.. think yr se referring to the new aisin gearbox which is use in toyota.

How long do u intend to own this car? If 10 years, i suggest u consider.. i own one c4p bluehdi.

Meaning toyota build the 1.2 puretech engine?

Better back theat claim with citation or else it's pure rubbish to me.

Se this days like to throw smoke grenade..smoke buyer

Wah really so bad Bro??? Ya likely drive for 8 to 10years, no $$$ to change car so often..... :TT_TT:  when I test drive, really smooth and powderful, ,at least to me..... only concern is all the horror story.... at first was considering the Kia Carens..... not too bad.... but compare to Grand C4, no match. [rolleyes]

The gearbox is Jap so that's one good thing. If you want a more reliable conti, you might have to go German.. cheers

BTW, my friend walked into the C4 showroom, sat in it, tested etc, then walked over to Alex and got the C Class :)

A ton more money certainly, but he's definitely happy...

YMMV...

I like the functions and the space. So I did something similar. I got another MPV from the same place my friend went to...

haaa dont have that kind of budget for me though..... [sweatdrop] .... looking for Mid size MPV and so far C4GP is still within reach...

I mention earlier was eyeing the Kia Carens, which is $3k cheaper.... but worth to top up the $3k for the C4GP...   [:p]

Bro, if you are not averse to the Korean marque, do try it.

It's actually very impressive. Designed by a person who used to be at Audi.

It looks almost identical to the BMW 216d, and the engine isn't too bad. Very conti inside.

My friend bought one, very happy with it. But do check out if you like the DCT transmission.

If you are truly adverse to any trouble, buy the Toyota Wish.

Weigh your own risks and benefits.. cheers

Thanks Bro.... will have to think through see whether got the balls to go for it..... haaa..... was ready to embrace the kimchi when this french comes by.....  may look for the German to compare before deciding.... but with my budget, not sure can even touch the German.

My last OT post but I would suggest looking at the B class if you only need a five seater. The net difference in price from my other choice, the HRV was around 20k or so..

You can see my choice and decision process in the general discussion. Or pm me after you have tried it.

Otherwise buy the Kia and be done with it. Cheers

I thought new c-max is already in sg. Just that dunno when they bringing in the s-max.

Really, buy car is heng sway. Car chooses the driver. Not the driver chooses the car. Some ppl curse and swear at French cars, some happy drivers.
