Melody288 2nd Gear October 11, 2010 Share October 11, 2010 Folks The Oct issue of Motoring mag featured dustless brake pads available for sale locally. Manufactured by NiBK, Japan. These are ceramic/organic brake pads which contain no metal fibre & carbon graphite, hence produce less dust. The brake pads are available for each vehicle class. Melody288 2nd Gear October 22, 2010 Author Share October 22, 2010 Hi, Good product. I bought a pair of NiBK front brake pads & install them on Peugeot 3008. Brake dust greatly reduced and there is no noise from the brake rotor. Try them out

Melody288 2nd Gear October 22, 2010 Author Share October 22, 2010 I posted this thread with the intention to get feedback from the forumers. Since no response, I bought the brake pads and tried on my Puegeot (I collected my 3008 on 14 Sep). After using the NiBK pads for 2 weeks, I thinking of sharing the result, hence put in 2nd post today. It never crossed my mind to "sell" the product here. This was the 1st time I tried changing the stock brake pads and perhaps, over-zealous in the "sharing". Didn't know that so many of you have tried other better brake pads before. I am not a fast driver and therefore find that the "bite" of this brake pads ok for me

Ravalert Neutral Newbie November 10, 2010 Share November 10, 2010 NiBK are cheap but it does its job, that is, to bite and stop the car. wont compare it with brembo, hawk performance or EBC since their price difference is great. The sound is usually caused by a missing back plate of the brake pads during installation. overall NiBK is a usable brake pad in general. Nothing great but definitely no surprises. If you want to buy, pm me and i will lead the way.

Civic6656 1st Gear December 19, 2010 Share December 19, 2010 (edited) How's the performance of the pads compared to the stock pads? BTW i'm driving a 06 civic fd. Thanks Normal braking power. Dun expect to perform like racing brake pads. Dunno why but after a week of installation, it gives off screeching sound whenever the brakes are cold. And also funny noise whenever I reverse then brake. It gives a "clock clock" sound when I stepped on brake. Even after returned for re-fitting also didn't help. Not recommended.
