Karnaugh Neutral Newbie October 27, 2010 Share October 27, 2010 In order to see your horses, you need RPMs in your car, and to do that, you'd have to be on your hot cam. If you're not on the hot cam, its a dog, and when you're driving normally you can't access that power easily. You either floor it and wait, or you downshift to bring the revs up. Whereas a car with more torque can just step on the accelerator and off it goes, to merge into the traffic, or take advantage of an overtaking opportunity. Turbocharged cars have the same torque hole as you have in your FD2R, except the reason for theirs is turbo lag. That's why people say diesel cabs are fast. They aren't exactly that fast 0-100kph, they don't have big horsepower, they just have a lot of torque, which manifests itself especially in rolling acceleration. You understand power delivery well bro. But i just want to hear what guru Minikong has to say. ↡ Advertisement
Karnaugh Neutral Newbie October 27, 2010 Share October 27, 2010 You chiet them for lunch, dinner and breakfast.. Anyway, very impress with the type r after seeing them in sepang.. The Jdm one. I wouldn't dare to say chiet but win them by a small margin rather.
Minikong 1st Gear October 27, 2010 Share October 27, 2010 You understand power delivery well bro. But i just want to hear what guru Minikong has to say. i am not a guru, and i am a p plate. ppl driving mcs can pay 6k just to get 5 more torque out of the car. and i have driven it myself and compare the difference. with just that little torque more, i can already feel the difference. Strong Neutral Newbie October 27, 2010 Share October 27, 2010 Friend,in singapore.Anything from 0-90 you need torque, anything from 90 to 180 onwards, you need balls.

City is VTEC or iVTEC? tried City manual version before, also nice to drive. EK3 not as crazy compared to EK4 but its still a fun car, depends on how you drive, fc can range from 12 plus to 16 plus km/l ler... how I know ah? me driving one, those are real life statistics...still got quite a few on our roads lah. for me, as long as its MT, anything goes...hahaha

I guess when ppl say they feel a huge surge, probably vtec point adjusted.

Your car is the talk of the town as it is the new Proton Inspira /Waja in Malaysia. Owners of Lancers up North have seen their resale value drop by RM25K on average. N3ver Neutral Newbie October 27, 2010 Share October 27, 2010 you are right with the Lancer GT 2L 155BHP with no turbo.. no offence, but it's already quite slow. but this fella over here with 109bhp or 124bhp (give u benefit of the doubt lah) Lancer EX 1.5 can talk so much c*ck about racing others. like what MiniKong mentioned, win the sonata Taxis first.. haha yup.Drove the Lancer Ex 1.5 once...accleration wise...can go head to head with avante...so doubt it'll win the Sonata Taxi.
