Apparently due to defective valve. Need to replace. Hence our car run like NA, turbo cannot set in. Will not cause harm to car during this period until AF replace for you. No worries.

Spare part problem. Nothing to do with our engine.. Luckily.... [;)]

Thanks for the info. Hope it's not too big a problem.

Scary... Yeah... Especially when the warning starts beeping, and loss of turbo boost.

Best is smooth smooth no problem. If problem arise, then hope to resolve it smooth smooth too :-)

Nowadays too much electronics in the car.

Before buying, I also asked SE if got manual winding for windows! Ha ha ha!

MTBF is a couple of thousand clicks, and then got to change the parts. Sigh...

There's actually a lot more info on our rides in the Malaysian forums

http://forum.autoworld.com.my/index.php?showforum=41

Seems like the thp engined cars eat up their batteries quickly- no doubt because the fan is still blowing to cool the engine when you switch it off. I wonder if it might be possible to install a turbo timer?

Battery are expendables.. why worry so much while they are so much cheaper? I rather it cool the engine than to replace a overheated engine hehe

er, the worry is it the battery up the lorry suddenly and I'll get stuck and have to call for a tow truck or AAS.

Don't worry, most conti will have battery-sucking electrical & electronic systems.

My Renault batt just went off without a single hint of warning recently @ 15 months.

My ex MIJ puny stock batt lasted me more than 3.5 years or even longer (as I sold it after 3.5 years and still going strong). Even got "self-healing" properties 'cos got one time the solar film installer "pour" too much water into my ECU, then car went into "ICU". I cranked until batt left 9V. Went home sleep, next morning car started with first crank. :D:D :D

If you buy one of these

http://www.dension.com/product/iPod-iPhone...ers/gateway-300

it will solve the ICE problem. Your iPods/ iPhone/ MP3 players/ Thumb drive etc will work with the head unit. I bought the simple 100 model which doesn't support USB but my iPod and iPhone work fine with it. Remote control works and the MP3 tags will show up on the multifunction display. The iPod lives in the glove compartment. Cable isn't long enough to pull out to the gear box console- but I am trying to find a solution for that off ebay...

I got my UK colleague to bring it in for me... but Pin Liang actually is an agent for this device in Singapore and can do it for you too. But you will need to get Autofrance to activate the CD changer function on the headunit. The Gateway 500 also supports Bluetooth... but $$$

Peugeot also sells a rebranded version of the Gateway 300 I think... and Autofrance can get it for you at $500! I paid $230 for my Gateway 100 which was shipped to my friend's home in the UK just as he went home for a break.( lucky!)

After owning the car I would say try and keep the original head unit as it is used to control the trip computer functions as well as ICE. The built in speakers are of decent quality too.

As for the mirror, I don't know but it seems like it would be a relatively easy thing to do.
