Last time before govt pay for cpox vaccine. Best way to convince a parent to get their kids vaccinated for cpox is... What if they get it during psle...

My friend just got his first Shingrix injection for $380 at a clinic in AMK.

Lowest I heard.

I think they should relook on the age set for the shingles vaccine. Many people mindset still think shingles is old people illness.

Even you willing to pay, doesn't mean all doctor will jab you. Some doctor might still be on the safe side, or kiasi type, follow strictly on MOH guideline. 😂

$380 is included GST or not? I have asked one clinic last year also below $400, forgotten what the exact rate is. Also consider the lowest.

Shingrix efficacy rate is much better than Zostavax. If i go take shingles vaccine, i will also go for Shingrix. Even though need to pay close to $800 for two doses. 😂

Just go take, any vaccine is better than no vaccine.

Don't think this actor is above 50 year old right. But he kenna so bad. Like i said, many doctors would not give you shingles jab if you are not 50 year old and above.

Why you keep saying that? I got 2 Zostavax jab and I’m not even 50 yet. 2 different doctors.

The GP will give, can earn your money why not? 

Anyway, different GP charge differently. My friend found the cheapest at AMK for $380 per jab.

Saw that the price for the vaccine from TTSH is $440 per jab for shingrix, how come even more ex than private GP le!?

Some GP doctor still insists only to give shingles jab to people 50 year old and above (i know people below 50 year old ask before), as this is the recommendation age for the vaccine lo. Even you are near 50, some doctors also would not want to earn your money. Maybe they scare if anything happens to you, they need to answer. 😅

Anyway, seems like many people kena shingles even before 50 year old. I already knew two persons around me tio shingles in their 30s and 40s.

I thought I had high pain threshold but when I kanna in my mid 40s, it goes halfway around my chest area, i call it the ring of fire because that's what it occasionally felt like. I read the pain can also be random and be mistaken for heart attack pain, indigestion etc. My treatment was OTC cream and better diet/sleep and got better in a few months and left no permanent mark. Think I was lucky and got a mild one, compared to the MediaCorp guy.
