Good to look at the positive side

After buying, best not to track price, because does not matter anymore

If not the next time it drops below ur buying price, get unhappy again

So just enjoy and when backside gets itchy again, can go thru buying cycle one more time 😁

True. 🤣 🤣 I think definitely will enjoy the ride for some time. Next target maybe CX8

Hi all, brought my Mazda 6 Executive to TEK for 1k servicing and was offered the following after 20K free servicing:

30K = $155

40K = $270

50K = $155

60K = $376

70K = $155

Wondering if this is a good deal comparing to servicing outside? Anyone can advise?

What is the FC everyone has been getting ? I am getting 8.4 /100km which I think is below the advertised 6.8/100km . Did anyone achieve the advertised FC?

Your 3yrs or 60k free servicing should cover adequately till thereafter.

Looks cheap. Earlier in this thread someone posted an attachment with the servicing cost and at 60k it cost over 1k iirc.

It's about there, you will never get the advertised figure, even in other brand of car.

Different route either highway or city drive contribute most factory. For me, most of time city drive with total 5 people FC is 12.7..

To me..not that important of FC, is the driving fun..I will still drive in sport mode..

if need good fc, have to drive car with ev, eco mode, slow throttle response car ..Mazda is never a good fc car if compare to other Japanese brands except Subaru.

Does anyone know what to do with minor scratches? How much does the dealer’s workshop charge for such repair work?

usually can try WD 40 spray and then scratch cream which can get from autobac to make it less visible. then go for polish.

if got dent then need to go for pdr ...dent remover to do..depend the dent size.

if still cannot, means it damage the paint. need to respray.

please don't use touch up pen on, the pen paint will protude up and make it look ugly.

Yes agreed. Never use touch up pen type. The best way to get rid of minor scratches is polishing, especially if car is coated with paint coating.

If there is only one paint chip off on the door, also need to respray the whole door? This is costing siah. 😅 I believe paint chip off on the door is quite common, as some people really open their door very hard and then knock onto your car door.

so the paint shop usually suggest to accumulate got few chip off then do it all together...so sometimes feel unbalance...either u wish to have more chip off so u can do one whole spray or just leave it also feel pain..haiz

If the chip off no sign of rusting, can just leave it lo. Cause even after you have respray, the chip off might have again. No ending on the respray la. Lol.

Can share the mazda service staff who quoted you this?

I was provided the quote below (before the 50% discount if you buy a package of 5 servicing)

60k - $1045

70k - $374

80k - $582

90k - $374

100k - $835

A bit strange that Mazda is quoting different prices to different owners. See below for someone who brought the package recently

Likely marked up and then offer 50% discount which is their gimmick.  No recourse for any parties even if such quotes are shown cos they are well covered under the clause that “prices are subject to change without prior notice”.
