Actually quite true on the first part la, many people have no issues leaving the disc in and the ps3 is still in good condition. But I don't agree with you on your second part, I have no $$$ to replace ps3! I agree on both yr comments based on my experience. I left the disc in my old ps3 for donkey years b4 it showed signs of aging followed by death. My current one, I just make a habit of rejecting the disc everytime.
