hai, traffic light malfunction, both never take caution to slow down although I would say the bus should still have more of the right of way. this kind of situation, I will rather be kiasu kiasi than brave.

Not traffic lights malfunction. Traffic lights will appear to be blinking in some videos.

0:23 the light turns amber. between 0:24 and 0:25, the bus appeared prob a couple of meter before pedestrian line, thereafter, flashed headlight probably to indicate he is too fast to stop, beh hu liao.

 

mazda failed to judge the speed of the bus, took the risk. when bus flashed the lights, mazda about couple of meter from the trajectory of the bus. mazda failed to react. absence of defensive driving.

 

easier for mazda to stop rather than the bus that was travelling at high speed.

 

this is on hindsight with the luxury of video playback. But I suppose most of us, in the mazda car, would have stopped anyway.

Yeah, I think the red mazda was too eager to cross the junction. Shouldn't have taken the chance.
