Tianmo Hypersonic December 21, 2010 Author Share December 21, 2010 TS you might want to try RDY @ AMK Autopoint. The owner himself drive a optra, and the shop do up quite a lot of chevy. They are using ATF machine (the red one) too. I called RDY, they use the GM metal can original ATF.
Kangadrool Supersonic December 21, 2010 Share December 21, 2010 I saw from AD workshop that for refilling, they just drain off old ATF and pour in the fresh ATF. No pump needed.
Yeobh 4th Gear December 21, 2010 Share December 21, 2010 Frankly never have come across mech pouring in ATF into auto transmission unless the unit has a opening on the top.
Kangadrool Supersonic December 22, 2010 Share December 22, 2010 (edited) It does have a small aluminum tube opening (where the ATF dipstick is) at the engine bay. Just put a funnel and pour the ATF in. Similar to engine oil. Edited December 22, 2010 by Kangadrool

Tianmo Hypersonic December 22, 2010 Author Share December 22, 2010 this morning went back to WS, told them the issue, at first he disagree, than I told him the problem, and he changed for me, going back again tomorrow to replace again and 1 third round on friday. The boss is a reansonable man so far, did not even collect $$ yet, just told me to go, settle everything than pay. update again.
Yeobh 4th Gear December 22, 2010 Share December 22, 2010 (edited) No wonder their productivity is so low. Trying to gravity feed the ATF via a narrow opening , without even a small opening for the air in the transmission to escape. The shop could easily increase its turn around time by just investing in a cheap oil hand pump . Edited December 22, 2010 by Yeobh
Kangadrool Supersonic December 22, 2010 Share December 22, 2010 They will not be interested in productivity as long as our gahment allows easy import of foreign labour and no Singaporeans would be interested doing such mundane and low skilled jobs if WS sticks to cheap labour. Yeobh 4th Gear December 22, 2010 Share December 22, 2010 Yes imported cheap labour working without any safety and protection is one of the main cause of low productivity and other is demand for dirt cheap services.

Kangadrool Supersonic December 24, 2010 Share December 24, 2010 (edited) Just stick to manufacturer's specs. Like what Tianmo said, don't mess around with ATF. There's no need to listen to WS monkeys. Edited December 24, 2010 by Kangadrool

My manual call for JWS 3309, which is also T-IV, WS put in SP3, 1st few days Ok, after 1 week, can feel 1st gear change to 2rd gear, and the feel gets worst each day, than follow by loss of power, and is like 3rd gear cannot get into 4th gear and when I step harder, engine roar louder but nothing change, engaged rev gear car like jump a little. FC increase by about 10%. This is what happen to me................true or not I don't know, because the car not dead yet.
