Yattokame 4th Gear December 26, 2010 Share December 26, 2010 every weekday 6.30pm on ch5, those wonderful cartoons I ABSOLUTELY LOVED TRANSFORMERS When I watched the cartoon movie (the one about the handover of the matrix of leadership), I cried when optimus prime died. I still do, today. I would record them and watch them again and again. I guess their toys were also what made them such an attraction for me. Silverhawks? cool stuff. There was also Starcom, Visionaries, just to name a few with more interesting toys.
Pocus Turbocharged December 26, 2010 Share December 26, 2010 (edited) For chinese, it's: Gatchaman AKA "Shuen Fong Xiao Fei Xia" Groizer X AKA "Wu Di Tai Kong Chuan" Macross AKA "Starship of the Universe" Mospeada White Whale of Mu AKA "Da Bai Jin" - no very popular as it's a Saturday 5:30 show but me and my cousins watched often. etc... After a long lull in chinese cartoons, I remembered Ch8 start bringing in Anime again and that's the time anime starts to be popular. I was older in Sec 4/Polytechnic that time. I remember enjoying these animes in Ch8: Mobile Police Patlabor Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water Record of the Loddess War Edited December 26, 2010 by Pocus

It is because now they DO NOT come out with fantastic cartoons like they did last time. Last time it was created for the children's entertainment. Now it is purely for money.. Kopites Supersonic January 2, 2011 Share January 2, 2011 Reading all these posts make me feel even more old. No one mention the ultra men from the early 70s. Latter year my favourite is jap version of "Slam Dunk". Up till date i still once a while turn back the memory by watching youtube trailer. Wifey always say "men are boy be it car or cartoon. "
