pls share the experience of using such promo price oil pls:) heard quite alot of complaints from owners using that and car mechanics also warn of it saying those are not from torko and usually barely failed Q.C ones....but dunno is it there way to make car owners buy from them instead..heh..so pls share ur exp!! thx!

Yes. Don't buy. Carrefour sells defective oil. Discount oil are all defective. $9.90/ qt is not discount to me. In the USA, they get it like USD7 for 4 qts. Do the math.

Having said that, I think Giant will have promotion on the same oil soon. These 2 were in a price war sometime back for this oil.

 

Now Giant is selling at $20.99 for a bottle and Carrefour used to sell for $14.90 a bottle. :o

How does we know it is defective oil?

Black in colour or it gives out a sour odour?

Care to share yr bad experience?

Stocks gg quite fast.

Years back the bottle carries a warning the its toxic. Since I could smell the oil vapour as I drive, I believe to be breathing toxic oil vapour. I gave up on that oil to avoid the toxic vapour. Do check if the toxic issue still present

I dun think it toxic, if it so our garment shall be the 1st to stopped it from selling. I have bought and used it before from Giant

That was displayed on the bottle itself in 1985 with the 1st generation production I bought. Can check the bottle and share with us? Many thanks.

Yes, good catch! Got myself 9 bottles, should be enough to cover my next year of oil change. [:p]

I only see 3 boxes (6 bottles each box) left at the Suntec branch around 5pm.

Bro.. Sarcarsm. Don't take it literally. If they have it in 30w, I will grab 40 qts like I did then in 2006.
