Have anyone tried to factor in fuel wasted while stuck in the jam? Is there any formula to calculate such thing?

These day, 1 hour jam is quite common at Woodlands Causeway.

Must be smart, monitor traffic and normally will go in JB on weekdays after 12am.

No traffic, pump petrol, wash car, buy cheap mineral water and quick supper back home by 1.30am.

No point driving to JB if you live in central and west.....

Im living near North side so its still ok....

why is the causeway so packed nowadays? i used to go on weekdays afternoons and the traffic is quite smooth. now it is always packed right after the Singapore custom.

It's due to favourable in exchange rate S$1.00 = RM2.5+.

Good question man. I am also wondering.

I always go in wed morning 10am. Last time, I could drive straight all the way to the malaysia customs but for the past 2 mths, the jam start in the middle of causeway liao.

Eh.... how much to top up ah?

This is a common question when you top up in Singapore petrol kiosk before crossing to JB. I used to pull out my calculator and do some mathematics exercise... sometime ask my son to calculate for me.

I recommend this iPhone App: Three Quarter Tank. It helps you to calculate the top up amount with minimal input. I have tried several top up before going to JB and it works well.
