I find the chicken wings still as good as ever.

For the rice and egg , I prefer them when they are still in old premise (near some bushes and pte housing land) before they shifted to Mee Sek Food Court.

for the chicken wings..only the branches @ Mee Sek & Tanjong Katong are nice..avoid the branch @ Jalan Besar which use electric appliances to fry the chicken wings..in fact all the food items at this particular branch lacked taste

I always have 1 big drumstick and 1 chicken wing if I am there for supper. I also like the curry vege with the rice(personal preference). Remember when younger still can order more rice. Now most of the time you will see me eating Heng Long teochew porridge opposite.

I don't really mind the price since these people stayed up through midnight to cook such comforting supper for me. The only thing I don't understand is how come there are so many people queuing up during dinner time? There are so many choices, why nasi lemak?

its an air-conditioned outlet..the boss is quite smart to take advantage of the closed Lavender Square to open a branch there to cater to nearby crowds..although personally I won't be eating at that location

But this branch is it really "another outlet" from Mee Sek side?

Bad news for diners.

WEF 25Feb2015, URA going to closed the OPEN Car Park opposite the Punggol Nasi Lemak (Or beside the Bicycle Shop).

Even the building where the bicycle shop and Soya bean are located also going to be re-develop.

Heard Aston (opposite Esso)going to close this month.

Dun tell me they want to build another condo?!

Sometimes I jog to kovan to eat this Nasi lemak. My standard order, drumstick, A-jar and two fishes.. And help myself to lots of chilli..

Actually why [shakehead] ? It's a choice that people make, you don't have to eat i.e..

exactly....to each his own.

Their choice to eat overpriced food and mine to shake head at their decision.

for me me no fun of drumstick but chicken wing. Oh yes, the fried fish is yummy munching the head is the best.

I love the chilli but sad to say, hell lots of sugar is in it too.... :beaten:

my personal favourite is at marine parade central HC
