I do encounter some squeaking sound from the Dashboard.  According to the Service Centre, its the Sound System a bit loose after its clipped on.  They have put silicon to prevent the squeaking sound.

 

My ride don't have such sound.

I think probably my luck not as good.  I gotten the squeaking sound and the loose bots/nuts sound

 

The worst thing is the fuel consumption was real bad.  12L/100KM.

When you collect your Biante?

 

My ride mostly 85% expressway every morning & evening except on weekends.

 

Just to let you know, my Biante went to MY twice before the 1k servicing to open up the engine running. No over dragging and maintaining at 100km/hr or below to Yong Peng on NSH. Went in to look for window visor.

 

Second time was to fix the window visor at Jalan Permas and thereafter to Batu Pahat. Same, never cross more than 100km/h on the highway.

 

Every since returning, the engine had since running smoothly and fuel consumption improve, about 7.6 ~ 8.3L/100km. (wonder how the spec put it as 7.4L/100km) 

 

One more tips, do not totally depend on the 'Auto Transmission'. At time when you feel that the vehicle struggle to move up to the road speed or overtaking another vehicle, use the "Down" button paddle switch on the steering wheel. Press once down and you can feel the change in power. This will save a lot of fuel than waiting for the 'Auto Transmission' to do it.

 

The dragging on will burn more fuel. This is so when especially when you turn corners. It is slow to pick-up speed. Just press once on the "Down" button on the paddle switch.

Mine not from dashboard but definitely suspension spring related. The sound is like yee-or-yee-or, tally with the butt sitting on the driver seat or not. Must plonk down abit hard then will hear. 

 

There was once my wife complained about a humming sound coming from dashboard, turned out to be emitted from the IU due to a loose rubber flap. No more sound after tightening, haha.

Collected in mid Nov 2105. Never had drove beyond 100km/h. I felt the dragging whenever I need to pick up. This especially will happen when reduce speed to about 40km/h and needed to pick up again. Have been doing the manual shift down to pick up if not its worst at about 13.5L/100km.

 

Praying hard it will improve better soon.

 

Can I know whats the grade of petrol you are using and the tyre pressure? I'm using 98 at 240 front and back.

Collected in mid Nov 2105. Never had drove beyond 100km/h. I felt the dragging whenever I need to pick up. This especially will happen when reduce speed to about 40km/h and needed to pick up again. Have been doing the manual shift down to pick up if not its worst at about 13.5L/100km.

I find Shell & Esso better then the rest. I find the rest under-power.   

 

The spec said 240 but can add it up to 250. Why don't you give 250 a try?

Just another curious question.

 

When I use the paddle shift key, wonder the number, i.e. the gear show that instant is the shifted gear or the current running gear.

Bro, if you really want to know if your car petrol consumption got problem or not, I think you should drive it just the way ot is intended to be driven. Do not down shift. I always believe this consume more power as the gear is force to work harder to meet the slower speed. As for the tyre pressure, I find 250 is just nice. Mazda was pumping 260 the first time I collect my car!

Never have drive till dry.  Normally I will pump when i travel about 360~380km and the pump will be about 45L.

Hi all,

 

I'm new to this forum, had gotten my car in June 15. Initial problems are as follows:

1. Sliding doors occasionally jammed after a car wash/ heavy rain.

2. 'tic tic tic' sound on the front console.

3. Sounds of loose metal on the rear door.

4. Alpine HU failed to start when engine started.

 

All were rectified by the AD but the sound from the front console is still audible when going over uneven road.

Alpine HU still does not start occsionally (happened 3/ 4 times so far)

Anyone experience sound from the air-con? It only started recently for me...

 

Accessories installed:

1. Changed front speakers and added tweeters.

2. Customised curtains.

3. Door visors.

4. Paint protection system
