Governing a country is not a short term process. It is a very long journey.

 

PM Lee uses the analogy of our SBS where one driver is enough. I think it is too simple.

Each SBS trip would only last for 2-3 hours at its maximum, of course we don't need 2 drivers. But strangely, even under such circumstances, we still need MM and SM over the PM.

 

Governing a country and making a country progress is a long and tiring journey which could span across a couple of decades. Under such circumstances, at least a co-driver is needed. Just like we are taking a coach on NSHW to Penang, we need the assistance from a co-driver, in case the main driver need to lau sai halfway.

I'm sure he can drive, but aimlessly, as u can see the navigator is giving direction . . .

wah! better don drive till election over! if he langga me hongkan liao! my ncd will surely go kaput! [laugh][laugh]
