is 900K foreigners still coming in as planned?

would the issues that was raised be looked into as promised by our ruling party?

For all party supporters, including PAP and opposition, please open our eyes BIG BIG and look

In 5 years time, you can still make a choice, if we are not swamped by new found citizens who will also be voting then

There are 2 parts here:

1) Transient foreign labours and so-called "FT"

2) Immigrants as in PR or new Citizens.

1st one, I can understand the need by local businesses, statutory services and manufacturing.

But does this policy encourage move to improved productivity, better wage and enhanced Singapore's long-term competitiveness in 1st world arena -

On the contrary, based on last 10 years of relentless pursuit of GDP and economic growth, productivity had actually fallen!

And yet Singaporeans had to slave longer hours with stagnant wage (+ inflation) in the last 1 decade.

2nd is what PM LHL had proposed is a solution to low-birth rate...that one is a joke.

As shown in the last 10 years, instead of improving Singaporean social fabric and building on national cohesiveness since Independence, this open-door policy as already challenged the very notion of nationhood and make a mockery of the sacrifices made by our NS men.

In short, the above import uncontrolled of QUANTITY rather than QUALITY foreigners and new immigrant points to clear and present danger to the very existence of progressive and prosperous mature Singapore. Future generation will look back to 2011 GE as the key turning point and reversal of this FAILED policy
