i did help him but after a while, sian with an outstanding loan so i paid it off. haha

 

then for my next car, i also help the dealer becos he nice guy.

but for BB car, If i am not wrong its more worth it to take loan then cancel it one month later. (assuming you take those no string attach type.) compare to pay in full cash.

Yup...yes a combined income of 15k...after CPF deduction take home ard 13K...but the thing is, I don't feel 'rich enough' to buy a Volvo XC90 2nd hand...let alone a brand new one. Should I feel rich with a 8k++ monthly salary? I seriously don't think so.

 

I always wonder how some folks making 5-6k a month can drive luxury cars.

just proceed to do the paperwork and after completion,write a cheque.

if after completion of paperwork and the SE said price is increased,then just walk away.

I mention XC90 is because I really like XC90 a lot. hehe...for now its out of reach. Its not just about whether I can afford the money..yes I can afford to buy one and support it...but at what cost? At what tradeoff?

they (not those with rich background) do it living hand to mouth.

they do it without thinking about their future.

they do it sacrificing and trading off many other things.
