Anyone knows where to get something like a cyclone separator? Something like blender but the blades in it will be able to produce a vortex with the liquid when operated. Anyone knows where to get it in singapore? Thanks :D

Wide use by wood working industry to trap wood dust.

Many construction mobile equipment such as wheel loaders, bulldozers and road graders use cyclone filter box to trap dust and dirt from the intake air.

I intend to use it for oil and water separation.

Hey TS, I thought u already got the working oil separator.

Alarmak.....buying off the shelf parts is NOT innovator nor Designer.

Like I say.....designing a oil separator is easy...many different oil separators are invented already.

There are so many factors. In choosing a suitable separator.

Oil density.

Oil agglomeration capabilities.

Oil water miscible ratio.

Flocculant used.

Efficiency of oil captured.

I have the suspicious that your FYP will not be new or innovative. If you have to Ask for a ready available oil separator, then I am disappointed.

I classify such as an integrator scope of work........like buying different bicycle parts to assemble a bicycle to sell......or DIY IT who buy computer parts from SLS and assemble into a computer. integrator...nothing special leh.

That design of mine got rejected by teacher. Because too complicated.

My teacher is asking us to use blending method, but it will emulsify the oil and water. Experimented it out already. Failed. Need something like cyclone type. Can allow it to separate the oil and water. Sigh so stress.

This teacher is hindering your progress....no wonder our kids cannot innovate or create new things.....knn self defeating teacher who are discouraging and say too complex.

If buy ready made....then any Tom's Hairy Dick can, also do it.

integrator and not innovator......I
