I usually pumped 235 kPA or 34 PSI when tyres already warmed. 30 PSI is the nominal, add 4 PSI to take into consideration the hot air in the tyres.

i changed to BS ER300, despite it's shock tyre for some brand, but it really give more control to the stirling and good baking and pickup as compare the XM2. And what a surprise it has good noise level too.

 

Now im a happy man than before

Is Primacy LC better or XM2 better? I am looking for quiet and comfort ride and safer on a wet road condition. Or any recommendation?

BS gr90 is what I am using now. More ex than xm2. Also looking at its review mainly concerned about quietness and grip in dry/wet conditions. My heavy weight mpv has weak brakes.

upgrade your brakes then! tyres how good also no use when your brakes can't give the stopping power.

If you can feel that your brakes are weak, please have it check and ｒｅｃｔｉｆｙ asap.

As for Michellin XM2 tyre, I am one of the satisfied user compared with my previous Yokohama tyres in Station Wagon and　ＳＵＶ．

I just changed mine to XM2 in Johor Jaya, RM260 each. 0412 stock 195/60/15. The ride is much much quiet now. Took the highway at 100km/h I can finally hear my radio at lower volume.

gr90 should have better grip in dry/wet than xm2 i thought??

Today early morning heavy rain, good, time to try out xm2 on wet road. Started along lentor Ave towards yiochukang, in the past the sound goes saaarrrrrrr saarrrrr over water puddles, today the sound goes softer suuuuuuu suuuuuuuuu. My previous Korean brand tyres I find myself trying to take control of the steering wheel as it float over large puddle of water. Today, the steering wheel just behaves like a normal dry drive. Braking and grip is no difference between wet and dry days, perhaps I am driving within the normal speed limits at yichukang.

 

Took the down slope towards upper Thomson road, the wheel roll much faster, have to brake more to control the speed. Made a U turn back now towards upper Thomson road, made a right turn dash under thomson fly over at 70km/h into SLE. Can feel the car pull hard towards left and still in good control. Made a short 100km/h at SLE and exit yishun, end the trip.

 

Checked the tyres when rain stopped. Siao liao. The front left Tyre has a full scratch over the side, rubber too soft maybe rubbed off maybe during that dash into SLE. Now I got 1 defaced Tyre, the other 3 still looks as new.

 

Overall I think for casual driver like me, xm2 value for money over the Korean ones I had. Not a high performance car so can really tell how this tyres will handle at higher speed.

Please be reminded that your new set of XM2 is under warranty, I don't understand about your description "defaced" ????

You may return to the tyre shop for tyre inspections and inquire for Michellin manufacturing liability in term of Quality, kindly feedback of your findings.
