XM3 michellin that bad ? Beside tyre loosing grip, are there any other "factor's" that could have caused your skidding at Multi Storey Carpark ?

Kindly advice.

the concrete floor was wet on a rainy day...and i drive quite aggressively....so that's why i say it still has decent performance... in those conditions, perhaps other good tyres may also lose grip...

but caused me to lose confidence and that's why i needed to change... [rolleyes]

Thank you for your advice, are there any more negative issue about XM2 michelin ?

I'm thinking to switch over from yokohama A drive to XM2 michelin soon.

Just called JB tyre shop, quoted RM.800/4 tyre/inclusive new tubes, balancing & alignment (existing tyre trade-in upon inspection)

How is the price compared with your previous purchase ? (JB Per XM2 michelin Tyre = RM.200/Current Rate S$2.45=S$81.63)

Best Regards. [:)]

I would say it's a pretty decent tyre more than enough for normal use in Spore.

At that price quoted to you, should be for 14" rite? I would say it's a good enough deal... compared with the price i paid for 195/55r15 in sg. [knife]

You know that it is concrete floor which would be slippery when wet and you still drive aggressively? That won't be the problem of the tyres regardless of the make, even the best grip tyres will slip. The only problem is the driver who fail to react according to road conditions and adjust the throttle input accordingly for optimum grip. You must have the legs of Jeremy Clarkson who only knows how to floor the throttle.

Neutral Newbie

Got mine (185/65/R15) at Soh Tyre - $130 per piece. The feel is good. Lower rolling resistance and better handling compared to my previous tyres.

paid 110 per pc for 185/60/14

Just changed to XM2 at JB yesterday and felt it's soft and quiet, as usual all new tyres are comfortable until it runs-in. The price is S$82/pcs included with metal tube, balancing & alignment for 4 wheels and the different with yours is the tyre profile at 65 height, S$112 saving.

I'll try it's grip performance at any sharp turns that may comes by and hope that it would be better than mine previous favorite yokohama A-drive.

i was on yokohame a drive when i bought the car... not bad but michellin is so much better...

Me too, bought the car and drove straight to tyre shop replaced stock tyre to yokohama A-drive, stayed as a loyal user with many changes of this same type in good confidence, I believe Michelin is higher-end in terms of brand and would think that it must fair better than other brands.
